1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Elaarn, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform.

2. User Accounts

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and for all activities that occur under their account. Users must immediately notify Elaarn of any unauthorized use of their account.

3. Content and Conduct

Users agree to create and submit original content that does not violate any intellectual property rights. All submissions must comply with our content guidelines and academic integrity policies.

4. Privacy and Data Protection

We collect and process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using Elaarn, you consent to such processing and warrant that all data provided is accurate.

5. Exercise Submissions

Users retain ownership of their submitted content but grant Elaarn a license to use, store, and process submissions for the purpose of providing our services. We implement measures to protect academic integrity and prevent plagiarism.

6. Revenue Sharing for Educators

Elaarn operates a tiered revenue sharing model for educators who create and sell courses, exercises, and assessments on our platform. Revenue is distributed based on the source of the sale to fairly compensate both educators and the platform.

Sale Source Definitions:

  • Teacher-driven: Sales generated through educator referral codes, direct course links shared by educators, or other educator-initiated marketing efforts.
  • Organic: Sales generated through students discovering content via platform search, recommendations, browsing, or other non-paid platform features.
  • Paid Ads: Sales generated through platform-funded advertising campaigns on Google, Facebook, or other paid marketing channels.

Payment Terms:

  • Educator payments are processed monthly for completed transactions
  • Minimum payout threshold of UGX 50,000 or equivalent
  • Payments are subject to applicable taxes and fees
  • Revenue shares are calculated and recorded at the time of each sale
  • Educators can track their earnings through the dashboard

7. Technical Requirements

Users are responsible for ensuring they meet the technical requirements for using Elaarn, including compatible devices, browsers, and sufficient internet connectivity for media submissions.

8. Modifications to Service

Elaarn reserves the right to modify or discontinue any part of our service with or without notice. We are not liable to users or third parties for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance.

9. Limitation of Liability

Elaarn is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use our services.
